Fakeaway Nando's

Fancy a cheeky Nandos but a certain virus is keeping you stuck indoors.. Well this is a super quick, no fuss recipe is sure to help satisfy your peri peri chicken needs.


Serves 4

Prep time 5 mins



Ingredients

1 large pointed sweet pepper

1 scotch bonnet pepper, two if you're brave enough!!

Juice of 1.5 lemons

1tsp cider vinegar

7tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2.5tsp paprika

1.5tsp cayenne pepper

2tsp salt

2tsp garlic powder


Method

Roughly chop all of the ingredients and then blitz them in a blender or alternatively with a stick blender.

Once smooth taste a little and add more chilli if you like it spicy.

Reserving a few tablespoons for dipping later, pour over your favourite cut of chicken and leave to marinade until you are ready to cook.

Yes it really is that simply!!

Tip:

Best cooked over the open flame of a BBQ but the oven is great to!!
